The perks of living at Geylang Serai.
Convenient access to yummylicious Dendeng, thinly sliced preserved marinated meat, usually made from halal beef or chicken. Similar to the Chinese version of Bakwa.
Bought the chilli beef dendeng, 250g for $10 from the Dendeng House across the road, beside Joo Chiat Complex, along Har Yassin Eatery. Perhaps will buy the frozen ones in the near future, 1kg for only $28, and I will just dump them into the air-fryer. Heh.

In search of the best Maggie Goreng in Singapore...
Maggie Goreng. A comfort food in its own right.
Had the pleasure to have a quick lunch with fellow colleagues just now. We went to the nearby Mr. Teh Tarik coffee shop at Khatib. I like Maggie Goreng but I was not sure if the one prepared here was alright and palatable because I have had my fair share of bland and tasteless Maggie Goreng before.
Decided to give it a try and it tasted good actually! Served warm and I like it. It cost $4 for a plate. Now I am thinking, perhaps I should start searching for the best Maggie Goreng in Singapore... Heh.

Hello hello!
It's been awhile.. A long while.. It's an ambitious quest no doubt, to revive this blog again.. Will try my best to pen some posts, as often as I possibly can, whenever time permits....
Perhaps I should include reviews of any makan places and of course any new recipes I may attempt to cook... And I guess it's also the perfect opportunity for me to practice food styling and food photography.... Hehe...
So let's watch this space... See ya!
